I've always had great luck with this place. Great sauce and creamy Italian dressing. I usually order at least once a month. Customer service is great too.

Not bad - but not great either. I live nearby and I was excited by the reviews I'd read that day (I was jonesing for a slice). The staff was very friendly and that's why I gave this review 3 stars. The space is conveniently located and the restaurant was very clean. But when I picked up my cheese slice to eat, the cheese literally started to slide off. I had never seen that before. I don't know if the slice was still too hot, but even I don't want to resort to a knife and fork when having a slice. The problem is I know I can find better pizza (and I'm willing to drive to get it). Their 2 slices and a drink for $5 is a great deal that's hard to beat. I just don't know when I'll be interested in returning to take advantage of it.

Best Greek salad in town. The older staff know the 'Doc's salad'. Extra olives feta and anchovies.

Quick Edit: Jerry's does deliver up to a five mile radius from the Altamonte location. No delivery charge, they just ask for a $15 minimum order and that you tip the driver. SUPPORT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS!!! Jerry's is definitely a modest little place. Simple on the inside. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly order taker/cashier. Order at the counter, find a seat and self-serve drinks from the cooler or fountain. The place bears the colors of the Italian flag throughout. Beyond that, the decor is a few pictures of the NY Yankees, Babe Ruth, New York City at night and not much more. I didn't come here for the ambience. I came for the food. After reading all the good reviewers and one disgruntled NY pizza snob, I had to judge for myself. Let me preface this review by saying I'm Italian. Half Siciliano and half Napolitano. I was born in Copiague, NY. I've had access to good pizza every time I've gone back. I already have several Orlando Mom & Pop Pizza places I enjoy. When shopping next door at Aldi, I never bothered stopping in to Jerry's. Today, I'm glad I did. I ordered the lunch special. Two slices of pizza and a drink for $5.30(tax included). The pizza came out hot, fresh and good. The crust was soft at the edge of the slice and crispy underneath. Not soggy like a previous reviewer said. In fact, parts of the crust had an audible crunch on the underside. Not that kind of crunch that's dry and powdery. Just a good crispness. I'll be interested to try more of Jerry's food in the future.

Best pizza I have had since I moved from Massachusetts. The wings are good. They seem like a small family business, which is nice but delivery does take a little longer than I would want it to (maybe they are understaffed) but food and prices are good.

I decided to check out this place today since I was nearby and really wanted some pizza. As a long-time fan of the Jerry's in Longwood, I almost was obligated to try this as well, especially considering that all of the existing reviews are of the 5-star variety. This Jerry's location also had been among my "to try" Yelp bookmarks for a while and I finally was able to cross it off the list today. Jerry's isn't all that tough to find; it's a few doors down from the Flanagan's bar in the shopping center at the corner of S.R. 434 and S.R. 436 (the strip that has the Winn-Dixie - I think? - in it). The best way to describe both the exterior and interior of the restaurant is as modest and nondescript; there's nothing at all fancy about it. The Jerry's in Longwood also is in a small shopping strip, but seems to be slightly more fancy than this one. Don't let the lack of flair dissuade you, though. The restaurant makes some very good pizza. I took advantage of the offer listed on a sign outside the front door, which mentioned a 2-slices-and-a-drink deal for $5. Many places around town do something similar, if not identical, so the price was right. I ordered one plain slice and one with pepperoni (one slice with a topping may have added $.20-$.30 to my total, but no big deal). Both were very tasty and what I was hoping to get. The crust was excellent (chewy and not crunchy/too crispy, although it had the right amount of crispiness), the cheese was great and the pepperoni on the one slice was very good and had the right amount of spiciness. The customer service was just fine - I was in & out of the shop in about five minutes, so it didn't take long for my order to be fulfilled. The guy who took my order was polite and courteous. If you live in this part of town or are just passing through, give this Jerry's location a try. The slices I had today definitely reminded me of the pizza I've had in N.Y., and it looks like previous reviewers felt the same way. I still am not sure what the best pizza in town is, but the slices at Jerry's definitely are in the running.

My wife and I have been searching for a good pizza place. After going through a few places that certainly have disappointed us, I'm glad to say that Jerry's is not one of them. First off, they have an unbelievable special - 2 slices and a coke for $5 +tax. We were greeted by a friendly cashier and fountain drinks are self serve. Our pizza slices came out hot, and were thin! The cheese was tasty and the crust was also thin but not too powdery. Dining room is simple, but resembles what a take out pizza joint in NY would be. I grabbed a menu as I will defiantly be ordering pizza from here again and am looking forward to trying their wings and subs.

Love this place! Dawn is the sweetest and the food is the best. I work nearby and come here often. I love the wraps, pizza, salads and subs. I like frequenting family owned businesses because of the people. In this case, food and people!

My husband and I ate here today and the pizza was delicious! It's very hard to find NY-style pizza with a crispy crust, and friendly service on top. We'll be back!

I'm always looking for a good, "hole in the wall" pizza joint. I tried this place after reading a few mostly positive reviews, and have been back 3 more times since. Their pricing is great and they always run lunch specials. The pizza is some of the best NY-style I have had in Orlando, and their hot-subs are surprisingly GREAT (I'd recommend them to anyone). The restaurant operates like a take-out restaurant with seating. Their decor is simple and essentially consists of old photographs of New York. If you enjoy NY-style Pizza & Hot-Subs and do not like this place, I don't think I can trust you.

This place is awesome! We came in before jumping to Aldi's for groceries and I'm really glad we did. I had been eyeing this place for a couple weeks and just never had the time to go. They have an awesome ramp and stairs option that appealed to me. Score. The guy was bursting with energy and you could see the joy on his face as we came through the door. He and his wife are ridiculously personable and nice. We chatted a couple of minutes and I learned they had 3 locations, all owned by different family members which to me was awesome. My husband and I did the deal where you can get 2 slices of cheese and a fountain drink for 5 bucks. I would definitely do that again. It was so tasty, it was not dripping of oil by any stretch (which I loved) and the environment reminded me of the small hole in the wall pizzerias back in NY (where i'm from).

My husband and I are on a road trip to Tampa and stopped on our way at Jerry's. The service was excellent, the lady who helped was very nice. I had the bbq chicken pizza and my husband had the turkey club wrap, both where excellent!

I've lived in all five burroughs and this is not NY quality pizza by any stretch of the imagination. Went in for a late lunch and had to wait like 10 minutes for slices. Slices were small, not large and floppy like NY. Sauce is canned and cheese tasted like some imitation. Altamonts still does not have viable NY style pizza. Will not be back.

Best sandwich place I've found since I moved to Florida. The one thing I hate is that I fell in love with the hot Italian sandwich off the bat and really want to try some of their other sandwiches. I eat there probably 1-2 times a week and I've tried to get to the other sandwiches but my favorite calls to me constantly. For something different they have 2 HUGE slices of pizza and a drink for $5.00 and they had decent pizza. And the service is always top notch! If you want a decent sandwich forget Subway and go to Jerrys. You won't be disappointed.

Everything was delicious! I had two slices of cheese pizza and a coke and my husband got the Italian combo. Very close if not on point to the real NY style. Customer service is excellent. We will be back!

I'm freshly removed from NYC where I've lived my whole life. Name a borough and I'll name you multiple Pizza places I like there. That being said, this is the BEST pizza in the Orlando area AND if this place was back home it would make my list. I don't know why it's so difficult for places to make decent pizza. I really don't believe its the water. These guys got it right. I've visited the other store they have Longwood and I don't think the pizza is as good there. Could've been an off pie though. They have many more menu items available in the Longwood restaurant also. All in all, they're my preferred pizza joint.

This place makes the BEST pizza I've had outside of NY. We get it at least once every two weeks. They also use Boar's Head meat for their subs. I really really want this place to do great, so I tell everyone that if they're looking for the best pizza around, this is the place to go. GO! NOW! (It's in the plaza on 436 with Aldi's, Staples, & Jo-Ann's)

I've only had the pizza, but 'm addicted. The crust is thin and the cheese/sauce has a nice flavor. Its been one month since my first experience and I'm already on my fourth pizza. Plus everyone that works there is super nice. I'm changing mine from a 5 to a 4... not because the pizza isn't fantastic, because it is, but because of the service. The other day we called to order a pizza for pickup and the gentleman said it would be 20 minutes. We got there 25 minutes later and paid for the pizza. The man said it would be a minute... we saw him put our pizza in about 10 minutes later, so overall we ended up waiting about 30 minutes after we got there. He gave us no apologies and said nothing to us.

If your looking for a delicious affordable place to grab a bite this is it. Their pizza is the closest to an NYC slice i have come and it's one of our family's favorites and we are displaced New Yorkers. Customer service is always great as well. Decor is of a small neighborhood pizzeria. Yum pretty much sums up this place.
